The Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town, which was chartered on 16 February 1998, today has more than 55 members. They are one of the most active Rotaract clubs in Nepal and over the past 16 years they have been involved in many noteworthy projects. In 2014 they were selected for and successfully hosted the Rotaract District Conference in Kathmandu. They were also awarded the Rotary International Peace Grant for providing a water supply system to a backward Tamang village, Chamkar at Panauti, Kavre District, and presented their work at the breakout session of the RI Convention in Sydney. Our Interact Club at Mangal High School, Kirtipur, won the prestigious 2013 Grand Prize of the Rotary International Interact Video Competition for its video “Seeds of Change”, and received a personal letter of recognition from the RI President. This video was screened at the RI Convention in Sydney. Our Interact Club at Jana Sewa HS school, Paanga won a 2014 Safe Water Topic Prize with its video “Little Hands Together”. The video was also screened for Rotarians from four districts
