On 8th November 2013, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid Town handed over “Anaesthesia Machine with Automatic Ventilation System” to Scheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa. This was supported under Matching Grant project of RC of Kathmandu Mid Town as Host Partner and RC of Kaufusgen-Losetal (D-1820), Germany as International Partner. The total cost of the machine was Euro 16,996. During the hand over program, Dr. Fernando Cardona, CEO of Sheer Memorial Hospital delivered welcome speech , Mr. Martin Bialluch representing Rotary Club of Germany gave Felicitation Speech, President Saroj Shrestha, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid Town explained about the project and importance of such Anaesthesia machine for providing better services by the hospital to needy people. Chief Guest Rtn. Dilendra Raj Shrestha, District Governor, RI District 3292 highlighted the Rotary activities and thanked Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid Town, Rotary Club Kaufusgen-Losetal and Rotary Club of Kassel-Hofgeismar of Germany for the contribution of such project for cause of humanity. On behalf of Scheer Memorial Hospital, Rotarian Sundar Thapa expressed vote of thanks. Assistance Governor Rotarian Pramod Pradhan, Past President Rotarian Mani Dhoj Joshi, Secretary Rotarian Paras SJB Rana from Rotary Club of Kathmandu and Rotarian Raghunath Ghimire, President of Rotary Club of Kavre-Banepa were also present during the handed over ceremony.
